About Us
The park has been located at the property in Denio Junction at the intersection of State Route 140 and State Route 292 for several years, dating back to around 1980. Back then it housed several more permanent mobile homes that were home to area miners who worked in open mines at the time. As the economy changed, many of those workers dissipated and the park was used for travelers and hunters passing through. In 2005 the park closed as the ownership at the time decided to leave the area.
Recently the Vaughns, Penny and Larry (yes, that's where the "P & L" comes from!) were searching for a home in Nevada and came across this RV Park for sale and decided to investigate. They have an RV, and enjoy traveling with it, so this seemed an intriguing opportunity for them. They took a look, saw some potential and now we have P & L Denio Junction RV Park!
Penny has retired from the Food Service Industry, and Larry has owned (but now retired from) a successful garage door business in the Sacramento California area called "The Door Guy" for the past 20 years. Larry sold that successful business, and Penny plans to put their personal touches on the RV Park as time goes on.
The convenience of the location and the full hookups are a welcome addition for travelers, vacationers, miners and hunters alike.
